Elevating a fast-growing consulting firm with a modernized brand and digital presence
Eva Garland Consulting (EGC) is an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing consulting firm specializing in securing and managing non-dilutive funding for scientific innovation. As the company rapidly expanded, its brand and digital presence needed to evolve to match its reputation and clientele. The existing brand identity, while recognizable, lacked the sophistication and credibility required to appeal to high-profile clients, including government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. To maintain brand recognition while modernizing its visual identity, EGC partnered with RYCO to develop a refined brand, a fully redesigned website, and high-quality brand photography and videography. The goal was to create a professional and engaging brand experience that reflected EGC’s expertise and leadership in the industry.

The Need
A brand and website that reflects industry leadership and professionalism
EGC had outgrown its existing website and brand. While the company had built a strong reputation in its field, its outdated logo and website did not align with its stature as a leading consulting firm. The primary challenge was to refresh the brand without losing recognition among its established audience. The old logo featured an oval enclosure and a red and gold color palette. To modernize the look, we refined the typography, streamlined the oval shape for a sleeker feel, and fine-tuned the color palette to enhance sophistication and consistency.
Beyond the logo, EGC’s website needed a complete overhaul. The previous site was limited in functionality, difficult to navigate, and did not effectively showcase the firm’s expertise. With a growing client base in biotech, medical, and pharmaceutical industries, EGC needed a website that not only looked modern but also provided credibility and a seamless user experience. Additionally, they needed a robust “Insights” section to house valuable industry knowledge, case studies, and thought leadership content.
The final component of the rebrand was a lack of high-quality brand assets. The company needed professional photography and videography to bring their brand to life. Without strong visuals, it was difficult to establish an emotional connection with prospective clients or highlight the team behind EGC’s success.

The Journey
A strategic and thoughtful approach to rebranding
To ensure continuity in brand recognition, we carefully refined the existing logo rather than replacing it entirely. We maintained the core red and gold color palette but fine-tuned the hues to create a more sophisticated and balanced look. The original oval encircling the logo was transformed into a smooth, modern shape, and the typography was updated to a sleek, contemporary typeface. Beyond the logo, we built out the entire visual brand, introducing sleek linear patterns and additional design elements to create a sense of innovation and precision that resonates with EGC’s scientific audience. A comprehensive brand book was developed to ensure consistency in how the new brand was applied moving forward.

With the branding established, we designed and developed a completely new website to serve as a resource for EGC’s clients and showcase the firm’s expertise. The site featured a fully built-out Insights section, providing valuable information for both current and prospective clients. Improved navigation, engaging case studies, interactive elements, and subtle animations were implemented to enhance user experience. The overall design balanced professionalism with approachability, creating an online presence that reinforced EGC’s credibility while remaining user-friendly.
To further strengthen the brand’s storytelling, we traveled to North Carolina for a full-day brand photoshoot, capturing high-quality images of the office, team members, and aerial drone shots of the headquarters. These images provided authentic visuals for the website and other brand assets, bringing a personal touch to the firm’s digital presence. While on-site, we also produced two brand videos in partnership with Ridgelight Studio. The first video told the story of EGC through the voice of its founder, Eva Garland, offering insight into the company’s mission and impact. The second video focused on the employee experience, incorporating testimonials and dynamic office footage to showcase the vibrant and collaborative work environment. These videos provided a compelling way to connect with both prospective clients and potential hires.

The refreshed branding maintains continuity with the original identity while feeling significantly more polished and modern. The website has become a dynamic resource, improving engagement, increasing site traffic, and offering a seamless experience for clients navigating its insights and services. The addition of high-quality photography and videography has strengthened EGC’s ability to tell its story visually, creating a stronger connection with its audience.
